Welcome to
Professor Bronwen Morgan's Homepage

I joined Bristol's Faculty of Social Sciences and Law as Professor of Socio-Legal Studies in the School of Law in August 2005.

Previously, I was the Harold Woods Research Fellow in Law at the Centre for Socio-legal Studies and Wadham College, University of Oxford (2002-2005), and a Tutorial Fellow and University Lecturer in Law at St Hilda's College, Oxford (1999-2001).

I have a PhD from the Jurisprudence and Social Policy Department at the University of California at Berkeley and a law degree from the University of Sydney, where I worked as an Associate Lecturer after working at the High Court of Australia.

My research focuses on the political economy of regulatory reform, the intersection between regulation and social and economic human rights, and global governance (especially issues such as citizenship that link social theory and political economy).
